Formula One world champion Sebastian Vettel 'shocked' by Michael Schumacher accident

Michael Schumacher, who turns 45 on Friday, remains in critical condition after neurosurgical surgery at a Grenoble hospital, following his skiing accident Sunday when he fell and hit a rock.


Cologne, Germany:

German Formula One quadruple world champion Sebastian Vettel said on Monday he was shocked by the skiing accident that left his compatriot Michael Schumacher with a serious head injury.

"I am shocked and I hope that he'll be feeling better as soon as possible," Vettel, 26, told German sporting news agency SID, an AFP subsidiary.
