Star Magazine is reporting that Duchess Kate, 32, is just about three months pregnant with a second child — a girl — for her and Prince William, 31. Unlike Kate’s first pregnancy with Prince George, she and William are not trying to keep the pregnancy a secret and have already shared the news with multiple people.“Little George is getting a sister, and Kate is absolutely thrilled,” a source close to the royal couple shared inside the magazine’s Mar. 3 issue. “[Kate] was really hoping the next child would be a girl, and having it confirmed has just given her the best start to the year. Kate and William are ecstatic!”
A Princess For Valentine’s Day
It is also being reported that Kate had genetic testing done to find out the sex in advance, and received news she was having a girl on Valentine’s Day. The Duchess shared the exciting news with William shortly after visiting Northolt High School with Queen Elizabeth.
“William was ecstatic! He couldn’t stop hugging her,” a royal family insider told Star. “He was actually a little surprised, because he was convinced it would be a boy. In his head, he was expecting a brother for George, because he himself grew up with a little brother. But now that they know a girl is on the way, it has really affected him emotionally. He knows his mother, Princess Diana, would have been overjoyed.”
