SS Rajamouli's ambitious project 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' is roaring at the box-office since the day of its release. Even in its fourth week, the film is continuing its dominance at the ticket windows, giving its contemporaries a run for their money.
The film's Hindi version earned Rs 3.25 crore (nett) on its fourth Monday, thus taking its fourth week collections so far to Rs 21.50 crore (nett), according to a report on Boxofficeindia.com. With this, the total collection of the film's Hindi version stands at Rs 477.74 crore.
The first week collection of 'Baahubali 2' (Hindi) was an astounding Rs 246.47 crore, followed by Rs 142.52 crore in its second week and Rs 67.25 crore in its third week. With a phenomenal start to its fourth week, chances are that the Prabhas-Rana Daggubati starrer will stay strong in its fifth week too.
'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' enjoyed a grand release in about 9000 screens worldwide. The film was earlier scheduled to release in 2016, however, the makers pushed the release to 2017.
Although it's a bit late the Oscar winning music composer AR Rahman didn't backout from sharing his opinion on 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.' Recently he took to social media to comment, "To Rajamouli garu, Keeravani garu and the whole team of BB2... Just finished watching it in Chennai. I hope it crosses 2000 cr and above at the box office. You guys have opened the flood gates for South Indian cinema to the world and given it a new identity , (sic)." To this Rajamouli replied, "Thanks you very much sir. Your appreciation makes it very special, (sic)."
