Carrie is a 2013 American supernatural horror film. It is the third film adaptation of Stephen King's 1974 novel of the same name, and is produced by MGM and Screen Gems. The film stars Chloë Grace Moretz as the titular Carrie White, and Julianne Moore as Carrie's mother, Margaret White. The film was directed by Kimberly Peirce, the screenplay was adapted by Lawrence D. Cohen and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, and the film was released on October 18, 2013.
